Important: Do not move on to the next lesson until you can type with 0% errors. Accuracy is crucial for beginners, even more than speed.
In this lesson, you’ll learn to type the new home row keys, G and H, while continuing to practice the earlier keys, ASDF and JKL;. We’ve also worked on the bottom row keys, including C, V, M, and comma, as well as the top row keys E, R, U, and I.

The Right – Left Hand
- For typing G, use your left index finger, and for H, use your right index finger.
- Once you’ve pressed G or H, move your fingers back to the F and J keys, their original positions.
Touch typing develops muscle memory through repeated practice, making your movements more natural for faster and easier typing.
